Passage: Psalm 139, Genesis 1:26, Psalm 139:13–139:18
David, a man captivated by the presence, grace, mercy, and love of God; in Psalm 139, is declaring the things of God.
There are two driving forces in every human being; the need to know where we come from, and what we were created for. You can have everything the world has to offer, but it will never be enough. Community with Jesus Christ is where you'll be fully satisfied.
God, when it came to creatures, always created an original and a copy. This created the ability to communicate with one another. Being like another produces community.
When it comes to humanity, Adam is not the original, God is! Being made in the image and likeness of God means we are created to communicate and have a community with God.
